things of the utmost importance
My name is MacKenzie. I have a complex about capitalization. I have lived in Chicago, IL; Phoenix, AZ; Randolph, NJ; San Jose, CA; Minnetonka, MN; Darien, CT; and Boston, MA. In August, I'm off to Glasgow to avoid adulthood by going to school some more. Adventure!

Anonymous asked: that last paragraph was tl;dr like the rest of your blog. here's the condensed version for your readers: "She thinks she is superior. It doesn't bother me."

Tl;dr, like the rest of my ‘blog? Damn, nice internette-relevant jab there, sir.
For the record, I do not think that the pretty girl who sits in front of me in some of my English classes thinks that she is superior! I know it sounds that way in that post, but if you truly look I said “there’s just something about the way she peers over her shoulder with a sneer wrinkled onto her pretty features before flicking her hair as she turns back around that suggests her contentment in the knowledge that because she sits in front of some other people, she is superior.” There’s something about the way she does this that suggests superiority - her face could be scrunched because the sun is in her eyes or because the person next to her farted, I don’t know. And I know that when one has long hair one tends to flick it about. It’s just that I’ve sat behind her in several classes, and when she raises her hand her comments are so well-thought-out and intelligent, and I’m sure she’s cool (as I said in a previous ask, she’s really quiet and I think she likes to be punctual because she peaces out pretty immediately after class) but she’s never really seemed to show interest in talking to me and that’s completely fine. I’m not grudging here. It’s just a little bit puzzling to think that she might be really sweet and smart and awesome and then watch her do this over-shoulder-look sometimes - it makes me close one eye, for some reason, and I can’t describe that feeling but “withered” comes close.
It’s just that the look on her face is “superior.” If you watch Game of Thrones, look at any scene with Cersei - it’s that face. It’s just silly! I find it silly that she does this. That’s the point of that. I don’t harbor any ill feelings, but you definitely think that I do and I can’t really change your mind so there we are.
